นิทรรศการ “คนพิเศษ” นำเสนอผลงานศิลปะที่ผสานสร้างร่วมกันระหว่าง ยายเพิ้ง – จิตตกานต์ สุวรรณภัฏ พี่สาวผู้เป็นศิลปิน กับ นายพราน – ธณัฐ สุวรรณภัฏ น้องชายผู้เป็นเด็กพิเศษ ซึ่งร่วมกันรังสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะด้วยความรัก ความเข้าใจ การให้เกียรติในจินตนาการตลอดจนทางเลือกระหว่างกันและกัน จุด เส้น สี และรูปทรงที่ได้รับการพัฒนามาด้วยกัน กลายเป็นผลงานหนึ่งชิ้นโดยฝีมือของ 2 ศิลปิน ภายใต้เรื่องราวเนื้อหาอันเรียบง่ายของธรรมชาติ ดอกไม้ ต้นไม้ สรรพสัตว์ หุ่นนิ่ง และทิวทัศน์ หลอมรวมเป็นผลงานจิตรกรรม เซรามิก และประติมากรรมกระดาษเปเปอร์มาเช่ที่เพียบพร้อมด้วยความงามอย่างซื่อตรง
งานศิลปะที่สองพี่น้องสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกัน เปรียบเสมือนประจักษ์พยานแห่งความรัก ความไว้วางใจ และการเยียวยาเพื่อให้อีกฝ่ายต่างได้สัมผัสซึ่งความงามในน้ำใสใจจริงของกันและกัน ต้นแบบงานจิตรกรรมของนายพราน ได้รับการถ่ายทอดออกมาเป็นเครื่องปั้นดินเผาและงานประติมากรรมกระดาษด้วยฝีมือยายเพิ้ง โดยอาศัยภาพต้นแบบอันบริสุทธิ์ใสซื่อของนายพราน ผสมผสานกับทักษะกระบวนการทางศิลปะอันมีแบบแผนตามหลักวิชาการศึกษาของยายเพิ้ง เพื่อบอกเล่าถึงพื้นที่แห่งความงามและความสุขซึ่งสองพี่น้องได้ช่วยกันรังสรรค์ขึ้นในฐานะ คนพิเศษ ของกันและกัน

The Special One

At ARDEL’s Third Place Gallery (Thonglor soi 10)
The Special One is an exhibition by ‘Yaipoeng’ – Chittakarn Suvanabhat, the sister who is an artist and ‘Naipran’ – Tanat Suvanabhat, her younger brother with autism. The two employ dots, lines, colors, and forms that have been developed together to design art with love, understanding, and respect toward the creative directions of one another. Their straightforward artistic creations include paintings, ceramics, and paper mache sculptures with simple contents around nature, flowers, trees, animals, landscapes, and still lives.
By using Yaipoeng’s knowledge of art, the innocent ideas of Naipran’s original paintings have been transformed into ceramic and paper mache work. The artwork created by the siblings is a testimony of love, trust, and healing that guides them to experience the sincerity they have shared with their special one.
